He was late to start, called to say he would be late, and then was still another 45 minutes later than he expected. After getting the proposal, it was only in the fine print that I learned I would need to have an electrician do some work before the job even began. I needed a new outlet put in of the garage door openers, but the instructions were vague. The installer later commented that the outlet should have been in a different location, but this is something that I should had been told to have had it put in the right place. When the installer showed up for the job, it was not what he was expecting. The installer wasn't sure if what was supposed to get done would actually work. We could hear the installer making several phone calls expressing his uncertainty in what was supposed to happen. In the end the installer made it all work and he was excellent. The lock failed on the first day and the office was helpful in getting it fixed. Overall I'm pleased with the finished job. I just wish that the communication was more clear for what I the customer needed to have done and what the installer was anticipating when he arrived.

We purchased our garage doors from Middlesex Overhead doors, and arranged for them to be painted to match our home (custom color). When one of the doors was damaged, they arranged for the two panels… Read more We purchased our garage doors from Middlesex Overhead doors, and arranged for them to be painted to match our home (custom color). When one of the doors was damaged, they arranged for the two panels to be removed and replaced with doors painted to exactly the same color. They had kept records on who had done the repainting, so the process was nearly seamless.

When I had an issue three days after installation of one of the door openers, the installer came back in a day, checked the defective product, and replaced it without question. That's what customer service is all about.

I'd recommend this company to anyone.

Our installer was fantasic and very professional. He did a great job from start to finish.
